Fundraising is our priority

The Friends met with Southwark Council on 11 June to discuss the way forward for our proposal to run the Museum. They plan to carry out a consultation with people that live in the old Camberwell parish, as this is the area George Livesey intended to benefit from his original bequest. Our main priority is to develop a viable business plan that shows we can bring in at least £200,000 a year for some years. We need to raise £20,000 to pay for a development manager who can raise further funds and develop this plan.

If you would like to help us raise £20,000, cheques can be made payable to “The Friends of the Livesey Museum for Children”, c/o Peckham Voluntary Sector Forum, 48 Willowbrook Road, SE15 6BW.

  1. Have we got in touch with South London Press, and our contacts at various radio stations? Do we have something that we can present as our vision for the Livesey?
