I hope this is true. The selling of assets left with chariatable intentions for the community is a scandal and someone needs to make a stand against it.
Regarding the modest costs of running the museum, has any one considered approaching the Coram Fields Charity? And what about the Bridge House Trust in the Corporation of London? Much of the wealth of the trust derives from Southwark properties owned by the Corporation of London centuries back.
